Duraroc is the Dwarven god of the earth. As one can guess, he is celebrated by the Dwarven kin. But of course, he is also celebrated by many of the Human miners of the world. The elves tend to look down on this god, as the feel his presence destroys the earth, rather then help it.
Duraroc's domain is that of the earth and granite. All forms of stone and rock are his to control and destory at will.
His weapon of choice is known as the Titan's Arm. This is an Enormous axe made from a fallen Red-wood tree with the Blade carved from a mountain side. Many fear Dura just for his weapon alone, as it is rumored this weapon could split the earth itself.
Duraroc does have his favorites amoungst his brothers and sisters. He favors his brothers Odin (for forging his Axe), and Dionysus (for his endless supply of wine). He tends to look down on his sister Temja for objecting to his weapon's make. |
